You love sunrises? We got you! Come with us to experience one of the most magical sunrises you will ever see, high above the clouds and climb the famous Stairway to Heaven afterwards. A perfect way to start the day and plenty of time to discover more of our little paradise during the rest of the day.
We start the day early in the morning at one of our pick-up points in Funchal Center, Funchal Lido or Caniço.

Sunrise at Pico Areeiro**
Our first stop is at the third highest peak in Madeira: Pico Areeiro (1). We will look for a nice place to watch the sunrise, which will simply leave you in awe. Be prepared for the very cold but fresh morning air and a sunrise high above the clouds - heavenly! What makes it even better? Some hot coffee and cake we will provide you with. A real Heartbeat Moment!

Stairway To Heaven and back: let's hike!**
After this magical experience we continue our adventure with more amazing views at Pico Areeiro (1), from where we will have a small hike (and back) to the Insta-famous Stairway To Heaven (2). On the way to there you can expect dramatic landscapes, a unique flora and a tour-experience which makes your friends green like envy. The way back and forth is around one hour and half in total.

What a morning! More plans? We will bring you back to Funchal, where you have plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the day on this beautiful island.
